On the stroll between Louvre and Trocadéro, once you've arrived at Place Vendôme, you look up to admire the massive Colonne Vendôme. Inspired by the Colonne Trajane, the 280 m-long bronze frieze traces the victories of the French army, under the eye of the frescoed statue of Napoleon.
